This is our most complete and popular option, designed for travelers who want to experience the best of El Tigre Waterfalls in one day.

The Big Hike is designed for adventurers who prefer the full 8 km self-guided route — no horses, no 4x4, no lunch package. Just you, the forest, waterfalls, bridges, and natural pools.

No car? No problem! We offer a convenient round-trip shuttle from the Monteverde–Santa Elena area directly to our reception.
Price: $12 per person (round trip)

How to Get to El Tigre Waterfalls 🚗
Reaching us is easy — we’re located just 8 km from Santa Elena town in Monteverde.
Best route: Take the road called Monte de los Olivos. It’s the shortest, easiest, and most recommended entrance.
Drive time: ~20 minutes from downtown Santa Elena.
Parking: Free and secure parking available at our reception.
Vehicles: A 4x4 is not required, but recommended for extra comfort, especially in rainy season.
⚠️ Important: Do not use the entrance via Las Nubes road — it is closed and not recommended.
